I’m Tanya Elbourn and I’m delighted to welcome you to my little colourful part of the internet. As an artist immersed in my craft for over a decade, my journey has been a fusion of cultural appreciation and personal development, all immersed in the natural world around me. A self-taught artist, I find immense joy in sharing my knowledge through painting and art-therapy classes, extending my creative spirit and enthusiasm for finding happiness in creative expression. Inspired by the mesmerising work of Australian Artist Wayne Clements, my primary focus rests on capturing the essence of wildlife, and my collection extends to landscapes and pet portraiture.

Some clients are looking for a portrait of a family pet, others have a heart-warming connection to a spirit animal, and every-now-and-then, someone will ask me to create something lovely to put some joy on their wall. While much of my art is commissioned to memoralise a much-loved four-legged friend, or to lighten a loved-one by reminding them of favourite-days, I also create my own free-lance pieces, or just pieces that consume a weekend and bring me joy. For those who have my art on their walls, I am always grateful, and to share my own art with others I have reproduced some of my favourites onto things for around the house, and in your pocket.

A comfortable space for all skill levels to release their painting energy. Come on your own and enjoy painting, or join in with the chatter in the room, or bring a friend and take a break from the every-day. Held in Caboolture, prices vary upon project, and include everything you need – you just bring you (and a shirt you can get some paint on). Some of life’s fondest memories are made with a fluffy friend at your side. A pet portrait is the perfect way to affectionately keep those memories. Blending your favourite photo with my own respect for nature and your love for your pet, typically a 50cm canvas pet portrait is $240 and is always a bespoke artwork handcrafted by me – NEVER an ai reproduction.

I believe that there is nothing more therapeutic than the total immersion of painting. If you are wanting to lose yourself in paint, I promise that you can. As a painting coach my goal is to encourage you to put on an apron, delve into the paint, and find your artistic zone. Whether you just want to give it a try, paint something under my guidance, or develop your skills to paint as your heart demands it, private tuition is $65 an hour in my Brisbane Northside studio…once to try, occasionally to learn, or as a scheduled regular booking to become proficient.
